What do we sharpen?
We sharpen beauty shears, barber shears, groomer shears, sewing scissors, and industrial scissors. We sharpen any brand of shears including Bonika, Kasho, Kashi, Hikari, Yasaka, Fromm, Geib, Jaguar, Eickert, Kenchii, Centrix, Joewll, Wahi, Ookomi, Mitsuzaki, Cricket, Kamisori, Nina, and others.
We sharpen clipper and trimmer blades from Wahl, Andis, Oster, Geib, Laube, Furzone, and others. We do not sharpen BaByliss blades!
How do we sharpen?
For shears and scissors, we use the Scimech Flat Hone Sharpening System which is a water cooled flat hone.
The inside ride on high end beauty shears is sharpened by hand on a Japanese waterstone.
Clipper and trimmer blades are sharpened on a Nebraska Blade Machine with a 16″ hollow grind plate. (See our process here)
How long does it take to sharpen?
We hold to a 24 to 48 hour turn-around time on all sharpening.
